|Recommended: NoIt is apparent that the owners cared more about money than their tenants. They nickel and dimed the tenants to death.
Parking We paid a premium for a first floor unit. When we moved in there were no covered parking stalls, but after they were built, Grayhawk decided to give assigned spots to everyone except first floor tenants. They had the spots, but they wanted to monetize them and tried selling them for an additional 30 month. The worst part there is that they couldn't even sell them and the spaces were left unused. Also, no visitor parking anywhere.
Our 2 bed 1 bath base model apartment and were quoted 1200 month. We paid closer to 1450 month to Grayhawk. Plus city power and gas. The deposit was 850, but only 450 was refundable. You pay a pet rent of 35 month pet and a pet deposit of 550 250 is refundable . We paid close to 2000 deposits but only got 600 back, so budget to lose about 75 what you pay. They dont even use the non-refundable deposit for carpet cleaning
I am sorry you did not have a good experience. The parking unfortunately was not the way that it was planned. The city made changes to what they were going to require of us half way through the project so as it was out of our hands at that point. We do not have a non-refundable deposit, so I am assuming that you are referring to the Pet fee that was made clear that it is a fee that is paid to have a pet. A pet deposit is $250 and if the pet is under 1 year, we do require an additional deposit of $200. The apartment requires a deposit of $400. These are the deposits that were paid. We do have a base rate and then depending on the apartment depends on what the actual apartment rents for. Bottom floors do rent for a higher rate, as this is the apartment that was chosen. We do not have a nonrefundable portion of the deposit. Deposits are used to pay for anything that needs to be done to return the unit to the condition it was in when you took possession at move in. You were a great resident and we appreciate that you chose Grayhawk as your home.
